Don’t think that just because this says x-Elle (XL) it is for an extra-large vagina. As each vagina is as unique as the individual, a menstrual cup will never be a “one size fits all” kind of product. This cup has been added to the range to cater to the needs of those women who need extra capacity because they have a very heavy flow and require a slightly wider rim to ensure a proper fit to avoid leaking – especially after childbirth, but not limited to that alone.

This cup is well suited to the seasoned menstrual cup user because it is SOFT (softer cups require a bit more effort to ensure they have completely opened once inserted into the vagina), and this can be harder for first time users to get the hang, but not impossible. The wider rim ensures a snug fit for women and those ladies who have had natural birth. The super capacity can accommodate even the heaviest of flows.

The stem can be trimmed if required.

The x-Elle cup can be used after birth (however we do not recommended the use of MyownCup to manage postpartum bleeding). Get the nod of approval from your gynaecologist at your 6-week checkup before using MyownCup).

Each cup can be reused for up to 8 years.
