MyownCup menstrual cup is made from the purest silicone, which is medical grade and allergy friendly, so there is NO risk when worn by those with the lightest of flows, and can even be used for the last few days of your period to manage the "spotting".
This small cup can be used from first a young girls first menses, however it is recommended that she feel comfortable with her body and has a basic understanding of her period. Due to the small size of the small cup, it is recommended for the teen girl. As we are all 100% unique, each vagina is too; a menstrual cup is not 'one size fits all' product. Choosing a size that fits best is important to ensure the cup doesn't leak and provides ultimate comfort. A MIDI cup or MEDIUM cup are the next cups recommended, if the teen cup is too small (which can cause leaking). Not suited for those who have given natural birth.
Each cup can be reused for up to 8 years.

For sizing, the LARGE cup can be used before natural birth and after birth (however we do not recommended the use of MyownCup to manage postpartum bleeding). Get the nod of approval from your gynaecologist at your 6-week checkup before using MyownCup.
The grade cup is made from clear medical grade silicone and is a flexible, firm cup that makes popping open easy. For up to 12 hours leak-free protection.
Optional: The x-Elle cup is a larger, but softer menstrual cup that can be used by women who have given natural birth and who have a very heavy flow.

Don't think that just because this says x-Elle (XL) it is for an extra-large vagina. As each vagina is as unique as the individual, a menstrual cup will never be a “one size fits all” kind of product. This cup has been added to the range to cater to the needs of those women who need extra capacity because they have a very heavy flow and require a slightly wider rim to ensure a proper fit to avoid leaking – especially after childbirth, but not limited to that alone.
This cup is well suited to the seasoned menstrual cup user because it is SOFT (softer cups require a bit more effort to ensure they have completely opened once inserted into the vagina), and this can be harder for first time users to get the hang, but not impossible. The wider rim ensures a snug fit for women and those ladies who have had natural birth. The super capacity can accommodate even the heaviest of flows.
The stem can be trimmed if required.
